Hi,
I am relatively new to Mumbai too but can reccommend few good eating joints in South Mumbai. The only issue is whether you are a vegetarian or Non vegetarian. However here goes ;
Vegetarian :
1. Crystal ; Good * home cooked kind of food at Chowpathy
2. Sukh Sagar on Chowpathy
3. Swati Snacks next to Bhatia Hospital at Tardeo for some good Rajhastani and Gujrathi cuisine
Non Vegetarian :
1. Trishna at Kala Ghoda area for some great sea food. Not so *
2. Indigo Deli at Apollo Bunder near Gateway of India : For some conti food. Expensive.
3. Martins near Strand cinema for some really * good Goan food. Its a very basic place.
4. Chinese Room next to Crosswords . Old place but good food . Reasonably priced.
This is a good start for you get to know few good eating joints. If you want any specific cuisine or if price is no barrier, can provide more names.
Hope you find this useful and have a hearty meal
Thanks,
Jiby

I can suggest good veggie restaurants. You should try samrat at churchgate. its awesome.
also, if you likle mexican food, please try relish which is just next to samrat. you also get italian food there.
then theres cream centre at marine lines,
the newly opened fine dine....aaah my mouth is actually watering..will think of some more... |

Some of the good Eating joints at Bandra are Only Parathas..you get a variety of stuffed parathas..if you are looking for a good ambience and some live music then you should opt for Sheeshas..
If you are looking for places that suit low budget then you should try the stalls at Elco Market...yummy dosas and chaat...Can anybody think of more places????????? |

|
|
Soul Fry Casa is the newer sibling of the Soul Fry in Pali Naka, Bandra that has now opened at[b] Kala Ghoda.
The Decor is really nice and warm. They have live bands on weekend evenings and unlimited lunch on sundays. The service is good, the waiters are patient and they come up with good suggestions and not the most expensive ones.
The Prawn Loncha , Crab Rechard and Bombil Fry are their finest items on the menu card. The Hard Drinks are nice and served chilled. The food cost comes around Rs.400 - Rs.600 per head. Overall this is a good place to relax and definitely recommended.
A True Goan Food Experience!! |
